In its description, the cruise is about long evenings in Portugal and Spain. And that will be the case, with the ship which will stay sometimes overnight, or will leave sometimes at midnight. It undeniably changes departures at 5 p.m. Some cities in southern Europe are just as worth a daytime visit as they are in the evening, when the nightlife rises.
I don’t know if this is always the case, but Virgin will have succeeded for this cruise in always having an anchor close to the city centre.

The cruise ended in Barcelona, again in a much more central location than the usual cruise port, with very easy access to public transport, avoiding the long line and scrolling of taxis from the other part of the port .
Will I cruise with Virgin Voyages again? Absolutely ! And probably not just once. And besides, the next one is already booked, with the few advantages that we can have to do it on board. It will be Athens-Dubai, via the Suez Canal in October 2023, for 14 nights aboard the Resilient Lady.
