Pools
Deck 16 is equipped with 2 swimming pools. One, more for children because located in the middle of the water games dedicated to them. The other more for adults, right next to the pool bar… they are large enough to do a few lengths, if you avoid peak hours, by going there early in the morning or in the evening after 6 p.m.
The spa
Another classic of the brand, its spa and its huge Thermal Suite. Unless you are in a spa cabin, access to this place has a fee, in the form of a package whose price depends mainly on the duration of the cruise but also on the moment because NCL varies the average price per day from sometimes incomprehensible way. Count on average $30 to $50 per day, depending.
With this package, it is possible to go and relax from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm (in general), as many times you want. Towels and bathrobes are provided.
Pour les enfants
Activities for children are grouped by age group, with places dedicated to each group. Parents can entrust their children the whole day to the company’s activity leaders. Some do not deprive themselves of it, almost forgetting that they did not come alone on vacation.

Hi Jean Phillipe,
You are brave to travel on cruise lines other than Viking, though I get the appeal of different itineraries. I love reading about your experiences, thanks for sharing. Next time you are in Seattle you should give us a call.
Theresa and I are currently booked on 3 Viking cruises. Now I understand why you said you would likely be changing some of your future trips, as we changed one of the cruises we booked on board and will likely be changing the other as well. We are currently scheduled for Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica, 12/15/2024; Ancient Adriatic Treasures in October this year (this one we will likely change), and British Isles Explorer, 9/17/2025.
Hope we run into you on another cruise in the future.
Bon Voyage,
Kathy
Knowing other cruise lines is the best way to appreciate the best ones (and yes, it’s a risk to be disappointed with the bad ones !).
We do hope to share a new Viking adventure with both of you too.
